A VERY SPECIAL EVENT
On June seventh, when we were expecting perhaps twenty, forty-eight Men's Club members and their guests were able to see an amazing flying machine.
Jon Rimanelli, founder and CEO of Airspace Experience Technologies (ASX),
showed off his electric flying drone. It was designed and built right here in the unpretentious facilities of Detroit City Airport (now known as Coleman A. Young International Airport).
Jon’s presentation was lively and comprehensive. Guests had questions answered and were able to watch some of the features of the aircraft in operation.
Outside, some of us chose to fly over nearby parts of the Motor City in helicopters. A great ride.
A few more gathered at Sindbad's for lunch.
The word on the street is that a very good time was had by all!
